Business Launch Package

This solution includes the core legal steps required to properly establish your business in BC:

• Incorporation of your company in British Columbia
• Minute book setup and provision of a banking package so that you can open a business bank account
• One custom foundational contract tailored to your business
  
  

This is designed to give you a clear, well-structured starting point so you can move forward with confidence.

Our fixed fee is $1,650 CAD which covers the legal work outlined above.

In addition, you should expect:

• Government incorporation filing fees ($351.50 for a BC company)
• Government name approval fees ($31,50 for a regular request and $131.50 for a priority request)
• Applicable taxes (PST and GST)
  
  

If any additional work is required beyond the scope of this solution, we will discuss that with you in advance before proceeding.

Most incorporations are completed within a few business days once we have all required information.

The overall timeline will depend on:

• how quickly we receive your instructions and details
• the complexity of your structure
• the type of contract being prepared
• the time it takes for the government to approve your company name
  
  

In most cases, clients can expect this process to be completed within 1–2 weeks.

This package includes one custom foundational contract, tailored to your business. Common examples include:

• Service agreements
• Independent contractor agreements
• Client or customer agreements
• Website terms and conditions
  
  

The appropriate contract will depend on your business model, and we will guide you on what makes the most sense.

This package is focused on core business setup. Certain items fall outside this scope. For example, this solution does not include:

• Shareholders’ agreements,
• Specialized contracts, such as:
  • franchise agreements
  • licensing agreements (IP licensing, distribution, etc.)
  • investor or financing agreements
• Complex corporate structuring, reorganizations, or tax planning advice
• Ongoing legal advisory services beyond the initial setup
  
  

It also does not include regulatory or operational requirements such as:

• Business licensing or municipal permits
• Industry-specific approvals or regulatory compliance 
• Trademark registration or intellectual property filings
• Accounting, tax filings, or book-keeping setup

Your file will be handled by a lawyer at our firm, not delegated to a third-party service.
