Linda Cunningham worked at one of Canada’s biggest law firms before launching Cunningham & Co. During her time at the big law firm, she realized that billion-dollar companies have a major advantage because they pour tons of money into retaining top-level lawyers. As an underdog her whole life who came from nothing, made massive sacrifices, and worked her way up, she asked the following question: Why shouldn’t small businesses and entrepreneurs have access to this same advantage, but at a transparent price and in an accessible manner?

That’s why Cunningham & Co. was born. Linda firmly believes that small businesses and entrepreneurs should not have anything less than top-notch legal advice and support.

Linda graduated from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia. She also has a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy (with Distinction), a Certificate of Legal Studies, and a Liberal Arts Certificate from Simon Fraser University. During her studies, Linda was awarded with numerous achievements. Some of which include the David Roberts Prize in Legal Writing, the Allan McEachern Memorial Scholarship in Law, and the Kevin B. Westell Award in Law. Linda also worked for the Canada Revenue Agency, the Sauder School of Business Real Estate Division, and several start-up companies.

Linda is also fluent in Vietnamese. She is a member of the Vietnamese Professional Association and the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers.
